Groovy Christmas at THE ADDISON Performing Arts Centre

This holiday season you’re invited to an immersive, holiday show – rather, a party to be exact –where the lines between performers and guests will blur. A brand-new production from the artistic minds of 6 o’Clock Dance Theatre artistic directors Jen Mabus and Zach Ingram, this is a special show for an incredibly special time of year. Party goers attending A Groovy Christmas can expect the performing arts on full display with dance, music and vocal performances. And nothing is off limits for The Holiday Cheermiester, who is sure to make a special appearance! The event’s interactive format, and mix of traditional and nontraditional songs, all come together in a cohesive evening examining the essence of the holiday season — from gift giving to time with (or without) loved ones. So don your grooviest, most cheerful attire, A Groovy Christmas is here!

December 5: Cake Topper Lighting - 4pm - 7pm (FREE) @ The Addison      Join us for a special holiday celebration at The Addison!  The event kicks off the Rockin’ Around the Circle festivities with an exciting countdown to light up the Theatre’s iconic two-story glass entry, creating the perfect backdrop for your holiday photos. This magical moment will also include our Holly Jolly Bar where guests can enjoy festive treats, drinks, and plenty of holiday cheer, holiday tunes, and more. Don't miss this chance to experience the season’s sparkle and joy with family, friends, and the Addison community.  Lighting to take place at 5:00 p.m.

December 6: Tree Lighting Ceremony - 6pm (FREE) @ Addison Circle Park

December 7: Feliz Navi-Dog - 10am – 2pm (FREE) @ Addison Circle Park    Get ready to celebrate the paw-lidays with Feliz Navi-Dog – a festive event for dogs and their humans! Bring your furry friends to snap a memorable photo with Santa and mingle with other pups and pet parents. Whether your dog is naughty or nice, they’re invited to join the holiday cheer, wag some tails, and create memories you’ll cherish all season long.
